‘Dark Knight Rises’ Breaking ‘Avengers’ Midnight Record
The Dark Knight rises release is today and it is tearing up the box office! It is set to pass Marvels “The Avengers” $18.7M as one of the largest superhero midnight shows of all time!
Marvel’s “The Avengers” still holds the domestic record for the largest opening weekend gross, Dark Knight Rises is looking to be a big challenger to that record with tickets selling out all over the world. The fact that Dark Knight Rises is already coming close to ticket sales says a lot as its not open in 3D like The Avengers which cost more ticket money of course.
As well The Dark Knight rises has already dwarfed its predecessor The Dark Knight in terms of ticket sales even though The Dark Knight had the advantage of opening on a holiday weekend Rises is still beating it and that says alot! Can’t wait to see it!
